Saniya is a managing partner at firm with expertise and focus on infrastructure and PPP, oil and gas, mining and energy sectors. Saniya is an infrastructure legal professional with a proven track record of managing teams of lawyers on complex projects, including policy advice, fundraising and project structuring. She played an active role in public-private policy dialogue on setting state support mechanism for renewable energy in Kazakhstan and worked on almost all public-private partnership projects since 2008 including the pilot concession project on Almaty Ring Road.
Saniya has worked extensively in Central Asia and Russia where she has primarily focused on financing infrastructure development – power, district heating, water & wastewater, transport, etc. The bulk of the projects she has worked on, are related to Central Asia regions with particular emphasis on projects for IFIs, such as EBRD, World Bank and ADB.
