John Andrews joined JMW Solicitors in London in March 2021, initially as Head of the Corporate and Commercial Department, before being promoted to Head of the London office in February 2023.
John is an experienced corporate lawyer with a background in advising clients on buying and selling their businesses, business start-ups, fund raising and other general corporate advisory work. He has undertaken M&A work for a variety of businesses and individuals, ranging from listed companies to smaller owner-managed businesses. He has particular expertise advising business owners in the following sectors:
- Logistics
- Motor Trade (franchised and non-franchised)
- Facilities Management
- Independent Financial Advisers
- Estate Agency (sales and lettings)
- Healthcare (including residential care homes and domiciliary care)
- Children’s Nurseries
John graduated from the London School of Economics in 1988 and completed his Law Society Finals at The College of Law, Guildford.
He trained and qualified at a boutique firm, where he remained until 2015, as a partner and Head of Corporate, before joining and heading the corporate team of a regional firm in 2016.
John is a keen golfer and enjoys watching football and rugby.
