Kaisha Ince

Kaisha Ince, UK Barrister and Caribbean Attorney at Law, has been a practising lawyer for over 30 years. She started her career in London with the international law firm, Clifford Chance, and has worked for a number of international investment banks including Swiss Banking Corporation, Bankers Trust and Citigroup.  She holds a Masters Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from University College, University of London. She is a member of the Bar of England and Wales and admitted to practise in a number of Caribbean jurisdictions. Kaisha has extensive experience primarily in the areas of International Finance, Commercial Law, Projects, Investments and Governance.  She is the former Chairperson of the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Programme and a notable specialist in Citizenship by Investment programmes in the Caribbean. As Chairperson of Grenada’s Programme 2015 -2018, she is credited with having developed and overseen a period of record application volumes and revenue growth for Grenada’s Programme. Her vast knowledge of citizenship by investment programmes is second to none and she speaks widely not only on Grenada’s Programme but issues of topicality in the industry. Kaisha is a member of the Investment Migration Council, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and the World Bank Group- Women, Business and the Law.

During the period 2012-2016, Ms. Ince was a Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation Expert in the role of Senior Commercial Counsel. She has provided key legal and commercial advice to the Government of Grenada on investments and financial arrangements to foster and encourage economic development and growth as the Senior Governance, Legal and Commercial Advisor to the Prime Minister of Grenada in the Prime Minister’s Office. Previous to that, Kaisha as the President and CEO of a state entity had responsibility for and advised the Government of Trinidad and Tobago on a US$15 billion portfolio of public infrastructure projects.
