Yerbol Bukharbayev is a recognized expert in international cooperation and sustainable development of free economic zones. As the Head of the WFZO Regional Office for Central Asia, he coordinates strategic engagement between countries of the region and the global network of free zones, facilitating the exchange of best practices, development of institutional capacity, and attraction of foreign direct investment.
Under his leadership, the Silk Road Investment Fair initiative is being implemented. This program aims to enhance the competitiveness of economic zones, integrate them into global value chains, and strengthen partnerships between government institutions, international organizations, and the business community.
His work contributes to shaping a modern investment climate and positioning Central Asia as a dynamic hub of international economic cooperation.
