For the last three years, Igor has been developing the fintech company OneVision, operating in Central Asia. It is one of the top 5 payment aggregators in Kazakhstan, through which more than 33 million transactions were made in 2023 alone.
Igor was born in Almaty and did not think about entrepreneurship, dreaming of becoming a doctor while studying at school. After graduation, he entered the specialty “general medicine” at the St. Petersburg State University named after Academician Pavlov. However, in the third year, he realized that he had imagined everything differently and that this was not him, so he left his studies and went to work.
In 2017, on the recommendation of a friend, Igor was invited to the position of manager for the development of innovative programs. Starting from scratch in this area, in two years he acquired the necessary skills, studied programs, understood the internal work of banks - building systems, transfers, products and how to administer it all. As a result, he was invited to the position of payment systems manager at the fintech startup.
In 2021, having gathered friends from different fields, Igor began developing his own payment system, OneVision. Today, in addition to Kazakhstan, the company is present in Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Spain and is constantly expanding its functionality. “We don't just handle payments; we also provide technical solutions to various financial institutions. For example, the OnePay boxed processing solution has already been implemented in one of the large banks in Azerbaijan. Our Anti Money Laundering (AML) system accurately detects fraudulent transactions, and the OneVision Wallet e-wallet allows you to conveniently and safely pay for any purchases, as well as transfer money online to any country. This is only part of our services,” says Igor.
OneVision currently employs more than 130 people. The company's turnover is more than $80 million per month.
