The Egyptian FinTech Association (often referred to as “FinTech Egypt”) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization established to promote and develop the financial‑technology ecosystem in Egypt. It serves as a cross‑industry platform that connects banks, telecom operators, tech startups, universities, regulators like the Central Bank of Egypt and the Financial Regulatory Authority, and international partners to foster innovation, collaboration, and policy dialogue. The association aims to position Egypt as a leading FinTech hub in the region by supporting startups, facilitating research and market analysis, and partnering with global institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to strengthen the regulatory and business environment for fintech entrepreneurs.
